We first connected with this French client last year. At the time, he was seriously exploring a new BBQ product line and showed strong interest in our Corten steel BBQ grills. We exchanged ideas, specs, and pricing over several months. But earlier this year, his company decided to shelve the BBQ project. To our surprise—and delight—he still reached out to place a new order for different outdoor products. That ongoing trust spoke volumes.
The final order included: • 2 custom-made steel tables • 12 garden metal lights • 200 meters of 3mm-thick, 100mm-wide Corten steel strips It wasn’t a massive order, but it was clear the client valued our product quality, communication, and service mindset.
♦ Turning a Wooden Concept into Steel Reality
The most exciting (and challenging) part was the custom table design. He shared a photo of a wooden table—his design inspiration. But since we specialize in steel fabrication, not woodworking, we had to reimagine the design in steel. After detailed discussions, we locked in the final size:
⇒ 3.6m × 1.2m × 0.72m, using 4mm thick steel Our engineer stepped in and, using just the reference image and specs, crafted a professional steel version of the table that retained the original aesthetic while improving structural stability. The result? A beautifully engineered piece—each weighing nearly 200 kg!
Once production wrapped, we shared detailed photos. The client was thrilled. For shipping, we knew we had to do more: ✅ Reinforced wooden crates ✅ Bottom pallets for stability ✅ Anti-slip padding to prevent movement However, due to the unexpected weight, shipping costs soared above the budget. Instead of compromising on delivery or asking the client to pay more, we absorbed the extra cost—because customer satisfaction and reliability come first.
